Terms of Service

The rules that govern every purchase

Last updated: 17 August 2026  •  Effective from: 17 August 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of gameodrop.com and every purchase of a digital game key, downloadable game or prepaid gift card code made through it. Please read them before you order — by placing an order you accept them.

Who you are contracting with

  • GAMEDRP LTD, trading as Gameodrop
  • 14/2e Docklands Business Centre, 10-16 Tiller Road, London, E14 8PX, United Kingdom
  • Registered in England and Wales, Company No. 17400820
  • Contact: support@gameodrop.com

Important — your right to cancel. Our products are digital codes delivered immediately. When you place an order you expressly ask us to start supplying the code straight away and you acknowledge that, once it has been sent to you, you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel. This does not affect your rights if a code is faulty, invalid or not as described. See section 9 and our Refund Policy.

1. Definitions

  • “Code” — a digital activation key, CD key, download code or prepaid gift card code supplied by us.
  • “Platform” — the third-party service on which a Code is redeemed, such as Steam, Xbox, PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Epic Games Store, Battle.net, Ubisoft Connect, EA App, GOG or Rockstar Games.
  • “Order” — your request to buy one or more Codes from us.
  • “Account” — the customer account you create on our site.
  • “Consumer” — an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an Account and place an Order. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
  • You must be old enough for the age rating of the product you buy. Age ratings such as PEGI and ESRB are set by the publisher and shown by the Platform.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract and must use a payment method you are authorised to use.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your Account.
  • The information in your Account must be accurate and kept up to date. We may cancel an Order if the billing details do not match the payment method.
  • Tell us immediately at support@gameodrop.com if you believe your Account has been accessed without your authorisation.
  • We may suspend or close an Account that is used for fraud, chargeback abuse, resale in breach of section 6, or any breach of these Terms.

4. Products, descriptions and pricing

  • Product information — including titles, artwork, genres, languages, system requirements and release dates — is supplied by publishers, Platforms and our key supply partners. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate but we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free.
  • Screenshots and cover art are the property of their respective publishers and are shown for identification only.
  • Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and, unless stated otherwise on the product page, include any VAT we are required to charge. The price you pay is the price confirmed at checkout.
  • Prices, discounts and stock change frequently. A price shown in a cached page, an email, a search result or a price-comparison site is not binding.
  • If we discover a manifest pricing error before your Order is fulfilled, we will contact you to confirm the correct price or cancel the Order and refund you in full.

5. Regional restrictions, activation and system requirements

Check the region before you buy. Many Codes are restricted to a specific country or region, for example “EU” or “Global”. A Code that is region-locked will not activate outside its region, and this is not a fault.

  • Each product page states the Platform, the region and any known activation restrictions. It is your responsibility to check them against your Platform account before ordering.
  • You must have a valid Platform account, and you may need to install Platform software, to redeem a Code.
  • Some titles require an additional publisher account, an internet connection, an active subscription, or a separate base game. Where we know of such a requirement we state it, but the definitive requirements are those published by the publisher and the Platform.
  • You must meet the minimum system requirements. We are not responsible for a game running poorly on hardware that does not meet them.
  • Attempting to bypass a region lock — for example with a VPN — may cause the Platform to lock or ban your account. We are not liable for that outcome and it does not entitle you to a refund.

6. Licence, not ownership

  • You are buying a licence Code. You do not acquire ownership of the game or any intellectual property in it. Your use of the game is governed by the publisher’s and the Platform’s own end-user licence agreement and terms of service.
  • Codes are supplied for personal use. You must not resell, redistribute, publish, auction or commercially exploit a Code, or use our store to stock another store, without our prior written consent.
  • You must not use bots, scrapers or automated tools to place Orders, harvest prices or bulk-purchase discounted stock.

7. Orders and formation of contract

  1. Adding a product to your basket and proceeding to checkout is an offer to buy on these Terms.
  2. An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your Order. It does not by itself form a contract.
  3. A contract is formed when we send you the Code, or make it available in your Account.
  4. We may decline an Order — before or after payment — where the item is out of stock, the price was manifestly wrong, our fraud checks flag the transaction, the Code cannot lawfully be supplied to your country, or you are in breach of these Terms. If we decline after payment, we refund you in full.

8. Payment, delivery and invoices

  • Payment is taken at checkout through our payment service providers. We do not store your full card details.
  • Most Codes are delivered within minutes, by email and in the My account → Orders area of the site.
  • Occasionally a manual stock or fraud check delays delivery. If delivery takes longer than 24 hours we will contact you, and you may cancel the Order for a full refund at any point before the Code is sent.
  • Check your spam and promotions folders before reporting non-delivery. If a Code has not arrived, contact support@gameodrop.com.
  • A PDF invoice is issued for every completed Order and is available from your Account.

9. Cancellation and refunds

As a Consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract for digital content. Because our Codes are supplied immediately, you are asked at checkout to consent to immediate supply and to acknowledge that you thereby lose that right once the Code has been sent. This is permitted by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and by the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

You keep your right to cancel, in full, until the Code is sent to you.

Your statutory rights in respect of digital content that is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose are unaffected. We will repair, replace or refund in the circumstances set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • submit false billing details, use stolen payment credentials, or open multiple accounts to abuse promotions;
  • raise a chargeback instead of contacting us first — this is treated as a breach and may result in permanent suspension;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, probe them for vulnerabilities without written permission, or interfere with their operation;
  • upload malware, or post abusive, defamatory or infringing content in reviews or support messages;
  • copy, frame or systematically extract any substantial part of our catalogue or content.

11. Our content

The Gameodrop name, logo, site design, layout, custom text and compiled catalogue are owned by or licensed to GAMEDRP LTD and protected by intellectual property law. All game titles, cover art, trademarks and screenshots remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available at all times, but we may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond our control. We will give notice where reasonably possible. We are not liable for the unavailability of any Platform, publisher service or payment provider.

13. Our liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
  • We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for loss caused by a Platform suspending or banning your account, for loss of in-game progress or items, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
  • Where you are a Consumer, our total liability in respect of an Order will not exceed the amount you paid for that Order, except where the law requires otherwise.
  • If you buy as a business, we exclude all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts, goodwill or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Order.

14. Events outside our control

We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including publisher or Platform outages, key supply failures, payment network failures, cyber attacks, strikes, government action or natural disaster. If such an event prevents us from supplying a Code, we will refund you in full.

15. Complaints and dispute resolution

If something goes wrong, please contact support@gameodrop.com first. Our Complaints Policy sets out how we handle complaints and how long each stage takes. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme, and consumers in the EEA may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms to reflect changes in our services, our suppliers or the law. The version in force when you place an Order is the version that applies to that Order. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version.

17. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Refund Policy and Complaints Policy, form the whole agreement between us.
  • Severance. If any provision is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
  • No waiver. A delay in enforcing these Terms is not a waiver of our rights.
  • Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation, and will tell you if we do. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
  • Third parties. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a Consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your home courts. If you are a Consumer resident in the EEA, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings there.
